A group of some guys and girls namely Rahul, Reena, Pooja, Nili, and Khushi are waiting in front of the gate of an art college they are all animatedly chatting with each other when Jay and Sid walk in when suddenly Sid shouts out loudly that today is their most toughest of exams and all they are doing is joking around they should concentrate on their work and chit chat later. All of them are silent for a while and then suddenly all of them start hitting Sid jokingly and shouting back at him in the tone look who’s talking. They all in the same jolly mood enter the college and into their classrooms and sit at their respective places. Starting from the second bench in the last row is Rahul behind him is Sid behind him is Pooja and in the second last row from the second bench again Reena, Jay, Nili and Khushi.
Jay and Sid are talking about girls that they had encountered while travelling to college when the teacher enters and gives them the instructions for that day’s paper that they are supposed to paint. The entire class rises into chaos and when the bell rings they all stop talking and start off with their work knowing the time constraint. Sid time and again is borrowing things from Jay and every time Sid borrows something the rest of the gang cruse him to finish his paper first and then do time pass. All are silent and concentrating on their work when suddenly Sid starts singing loudly,
“joh hai albela madh naino walla, jiski dewaani birj ki har balla,
Spontaneously Jay joins in
Woh kisna hai, who kisna hai, who kisna hai, who kisna hai.”
The rest of the gang looks at the two of them and gives them a no use look and continue with their work Jay and Sid exchange a high five and again get to their work. They finish of their papers and go out to put their things in their lockers when again Sid puts all his things in Pooja’s locker excusing that he has forgotten to get his locker keys. Both of them are scooped down when the rest of the gang comes over with their stuff and their locker keys. As they pass by all of the 3 girls ruffle Sid’s hair to irritate him. They all plan to go to worli sea face as this was their last paper and they need to free their minds before coming to college again from the next day. They all go and are seen standing in groups of two Sid and Pooja are holding hands and standing, Jay and Khushi are both holding hands Reena is busy with her boyfriend on the phone and Rahul is trying to impress Nili with his jokes and talks clearly making it visible that he has a high crush for Nili, whereas Nili is already in love with someone else but which Rahul does not know so he is desperately trying to lull her into his web.
After some time they all decide to go and eat something as all of them are rarely very hungry. Here Reena tells them that she has to go because somebody is waiting for her even Nili excuses that she has to go home and Rahul being felt alone with two couples decides to go home, but does not tell anyone the real reason that he is leaving because Nili is not there. So the two couples lead themselves to a neighboring restaurant and have their lunch over there. Soon after they leave and walk back to their bus stop where they leave the two girls and Sid and Jay go on together home (both of them stay very near to each other).
The next day again Jay and Sid are seen walking in college together with a much lighter expression on their face. They come in to the class together and wish Reena her birthday and demand a party to celebrate her birthday. She agrees for the party and they all bunk college and go for the party. They go to Mac Donald’s for her party and she tells them she wants them to meet someone and that he is standing outside. They all tell her to call him in and introduce him .Enters, Aniket –Reena’s boyfriend and their classmate. They are all shocked that they both were carrying on and nobody knew about it. They all share a good laugh when Reena and Aniket tell them about their story. Reena is very close to Sid and express her sorry for not telling Sid beforehand only. They all are very excited about their study tour that would be going on in a week and so Sid did not tell Reena about that topic and they started forcing Jay, Pooja and Reena to come with them. But they explain that they could not as already the reservations are done and that they were late in getting themselves registered. The next day Aniket, Reena, Sid and Pooja decide to spend some time alone and go off for a small picnic where Reena tells Sid everything about herself and Aniket. She is extremely sorry for not confiding in him earlier itself but Sid lets it pass and hugs her. They come and join Aniket and Pooja who were not doing much good talking together.
Straight to the day they all are leaving for the tour, Jay, Reena and Pooja have come off to see the rest of the gang. Rahul is all excited to be able to spend time alone with Nili that he is holding all her luggage for her and also his own luggage. They all hug each other and get in the train. The entire compartment is booked by the college along with another 2 compartments. Since all are from the same college they start enjoying from the very moment the train starts. Sid is missing the rest of the gang as even Khushi, Rahul, Nili and Aniket are all in different compartments. Sid is made to sit with some girls from the morning batch whom he knows but has never interacted much with them. Getting bored all alone he talks to them and finds them to be good hearted and total time pass kind of people. He befriends one girl in particular known as sandhya aka Sandy. They become fast friends and do get so much involved with each other that they forget there are other people also around them in the train. They play antakshari, dumb sharas, eat again play again eat and finally when night fell and everybody else in the compartment started blowing out their lights. All of the new friends also decided to go to sleep but not Sid and Sandy. Sid sat by the window and Sandy slept with her head in his lap and both lay talking for the rest of the night and when morning came they both fell asleep.
As soon as the daylight came in everybody in the compartment got up and started enjoying again. Again they started playing antakshari, dumb sharas and whatever they could. After a fun full journey of more than 26 hours they reached their destination. From the station they all were led to a hotel room where they were divided into groups for their rooms. They were given the day off as everybody was tired from the journey they assembled for dinner and again after dinner they enjoyed themselves. Sid and Sandy went off for a long walk and returned only when the lights in the rooms were seen going out one by one. The next day they were supposed to get up early and go for the purpose they had come out this far from their homes, but unaffected by the thought of getting up early Sid and Sandy were talking to each other for the rest of the night on the hotels inter communications phone from one room to the other. All of them got up at 4:30am and at 5:30am they all scrambled in their respective buses and went off to a beautiful location for their paintings. Again here when all of them were finding suitable places to sit and start their work Sid and Sandy both were busy searching for a place where they could be alone and talk. They walked for a long time and finally found a place below a tree near a lake. They both sat here and started painting and talking to each other in that pleasant and quite environment. After an eternity the rest of their friends came along searching for them for it was time for them to go back to their hotels for lunch. After their lunch for which again Sid and Sandy were together, they all were given time for siesta. In the evening they were given off to go and explore their new surroundings and enjoy themselves. Again Sid and Sandy went off and were together till late night they even did not join everyone for dinner back at the hotel and had their dinner all alone at a restaurant. They were both very happy for finding such good friends in each other. They could not be seen without each other at any time of the day and when not together they would constantly be on the phone talking to each other. Sid almost forgot about Pooja and rarely called her or spoke to her whenever she called him up during those days. After a few days with the same schedule shared by Sid and Sandy they went on with their tour and moved bases to a new place. Again Sid and Sandy started exploring this new place together all alone. Their teacher who had went with them for the tour Mrs. Naina was noticing their absence at every point of time and was always searching for an opportunity to catch them both together. Mrs. Naina already had resentment against Sid had just been wanting to catch him red handed and get him expelled. One fine day when they had moved bases to a new location and as usual Sid and Sandy had got lost into each other and were having lunch together at a restaurant, Mrs. Naina was busy searching for them everywhere at the mess hall, in their rooms, and asking everybody in vicinity about the whereabouts of Sid and Sandy. She could not find them and saw this as her golden opportunity she intentionally involved the other teachers and professors in her search for Sid and Sandy.
As soon as they came they were bombarded with questions from the rest of the gang and then their classmates informed them that they were supposed to go and see the principal whom the teacher had also got involved while searching for Sid and Sandy. Sensing trouble Sid told Sandy to go to her room and he himself went in to see the principal in his room. As soon as he entered the principals room all the teachers were waiting for him there and started throwing questions at him. Now it was the principals turn who was all this time watching and listening what all the teachers were saying. The principal, who was updated by Mrs. Naina with a second hand experience with her things mixed in with the actual stint, narrated the same to Sid. Sid was shocked that Mrs. Naina was keeping an eye on him. The principal then asked Sid about Sandy and asked him to call her also. As soon as Sandy came in the principal shot out that they were both supposed to leave for Bombay the very next day and that their parents will be informed about their indecent behavior. Sandy started crying out of fear of facing her parents and what would they think about her, she looked at Sid in an expectatious look, but Sid neither budged nor moved. The principal sent them away, as soon as they got of the room Sid tried talking to Sandy but she just ignored him and went away sobbing and crying. Sid went to his room and tried calling her at her room phone but every time someone else answered the phone and he just hung up without saying anything. Finally one of their friend picked up the phone and passed to him Sandy’s message that she did not expect this from Sid and at the least expected him to speak something to the principal or at the most should have said sorry to him. Sid tried explaining her that there was nothing for which he should have said sorry to him and that what the principal was telling was absolutely absurd and false. But still he was told that Sandy did not wish to talk to him. Sid hung up the phone and sat quietly for a while thinking and then suddenly got up and went to the principals room, the principle was alone and so Sid got a good chance to explain the reality to the principal. The principal was also amazed at the courage of Sid for coming and putting forward the entire truth in front of him. The principal told Sid not to worry and that Sid go and rest and that the he would talk to him and Sandy in the morning. Sid added that if anyone was liable to punishment it was him and not Sandy and whatever there was in store for them he alone would take it. The principal was impressed but his truth saying nature and called off the punishment but also warned him that such a thing should not be repeated again. Sid went away to his room again but did not call up Sandy and neither did she call him. He went in for dinner with the gang in their mess hall, the gang was excited that Sid was with them again, but Sid was in a different mood he did not eat anything and his eyes were always in search for Sandy. At last Sandy came in with her friends but she neither did look at him nor did she also eat anything. He tried calling her twice but she completely ignored him and continued staying with her friends. Sid went back to his room agitated plugged his IPod and went off to sleep but little did he sleep the entire night he was thinking about her. The feelings he had for her were not that of a Boyfriend and a Girlfriend but the relationship they shared was even stronger than that between a Boyfriend and a Girlfriend.
The next day was off for them and Sid with his lack of sleep went in for an early morning walk his IPod still plugged in his ears and playing “Candle in the wind by Elton John”. He saw that Sandy was talking and crying in front of Mrs. Naina who was sitting in the garden. He could not hear what they were talking as they were too far away from him. Later in the day when Sid was out with the gang he would see Sandy all laughing and cheering about how Mrs. Naina had helped her despite her tiff for Sid, but she was still not ready to talk to him and just ignored him at every instance possible. Sid could not take it anymore and just let her behave she wanted to. They moved to Munnar their final destination of the tour before they would return back to Bombay. Sid and Sandy still did not talk to each other and both of them were acting arrogant and annoyingly. Sid was involved with the gang and all of them were happy to have him back with them cheerful and happy, all of them did their work sincerely and regularly now. Three days before they were suppose to go back home they planned a small Camp-Fire party and Aniket and a few other guys decided to make it more than just a dance party. They brought in a few bottles of vodka and mixed it with the juices and drinks that were meant for everyone. Sid who was by now at the top of his anger for Sandy and frustrated by her behavior decided not to join the party and he sat in a corner with his stock of liquor. The alcohol mixed juices and soft drinks served their purpose as everybody was in for a high time. Some of the students who had never dared to even talk in public came in the center got rid of their shirts and tied towels as lungi’s and started dancing on the tunes of “appdi poda poda” and “aa ante”. There were quite a few ugly episodes so the staff decided to put an abrupt end to the party and everybody retired to their rooms sad and unhappy.
Sid was in his room still drinking when suddenly his room door opened and in came Aniket stumbling and falling making it visible that he was drunk. He lay down next to Sid and wants to start a conversation with him but couldn’t find the right words so in an attempt to make a head go he grabs the bottle from Sid and starts drinking from it. Then suddenly he keeps the bottle down and asks Sid how well he knows Reena, Sid is taken aback by this sudden question and smells something fishy but he plays along and says that he and Reena are very close friends and that he cares for her very much. Aniket then asks how long have he and Reena known each other and some more questions about Reena. Sid clearly finds this annoying and asks Aniket to explain the entire story to him before he answers anything to him. Aniket stumbles for words but finally broke the silence and tells Sid that he broke off with Reena and he told her that when they had boarded the train from Bombay for Kerala. It took a few moments for the words to settle down in Sid’s mind and when they did Sid jumped up suddenly and told Aniket to tell him everything that had happened. So Aniket started telling him how he was too much into smoking and drinking and how a simple girl like Reena did not deserve it he also explained that they both had no future as Reena’s parents would never agree to their relationship. Sid shot back that Reena is so delicate a girl that breaking her heart meant breaking her completely. Aniket added that he had never being physical with Reena. Sid did not allow Aniket to complete her sentence but just jumped onto him and started punching and kicking him left and right, high on booze it took some time for Aniket to fend off the punches and that was enough time in which he had a few nasty punches to him. Sid started abusing Aniket and told him that didn’t he realize it at the time of proposing to her or during the time when they were going on with their relationship. Aniket who was angry now said that even Reena could have declined to his proposal. Sid again started hitting Aniket and this time the racket made by them got the rest of the gang to come of the bedroom and they pulled off Sid from above Aniket who by now had blood coming out of his lips and nose. Still Sid could not control his anger and kicked Aniket out of the room and locked it from inside. The very next moment he called up Reena and then realized that it was too late and that she would be sleeping but as he was about to hang up the phone she picked up and was surprised that Sid called up so late. Sid asked her how good a friend is he to her and she was taken aback by this question of his, still she answered that she considered Sid even more special then he own life. Sid added to this that why did she hid things from him then, he said that even when she was going on with Aniket she did not tell him and even when they broke up she did not feel it necessary to tell him. Reena was silent for some time and then started crying and told him that she did not have the courage to face him and tell him all that had happened between her and Aniket and since also he was so excited about the tour she did not tell him. Sid comforted her and spoke to her for some more time and then told her to go off to sleep and that the first thing that he would do on coming back was to meet her and Sid then hung up the phone. The next he called up Jay and explained everything to him and informed him to take care of Reena until he returns back.
The next day morning Sid threw out Aniket’s luggage out and found him lying outside the door, he woke him up and said that he would never want to see him again in his entire life and warned him never to be even seen around Reena anytime. They were given the day off as this was the last day of their tour, so Sid along with the gang went out to explore the Munnar and its surroundings. In between he often saw Sandy but keeping his ego at the high he also ignored her from time to time. The day ended without much happening. That night they all gathered in the mess hall for their last dinner in Munnar for they were suppose to leave early the next morning for their return trip to Bombay. When all were back in their room and when Sid found a chance he called up Sandy’s room extension just taking a chance and was amazed when the phone was picked up on the first ring by Sandy, he did not talk for he was not sure whether Sandy would talk to him or not. But Sandy shot back immediately that since so many days she would sit near the phone expecting him to call and today he called up when she had entirely given up on him and now when he called up he was not talking. Sid just asked how she knew that it was him, to which Sandy replied that who else would call her up at this time of the hour. Sid could not understand anything he was all blank, all he could muster up was that he loved her very much and that he would kill her if she ever did anything like that to him ever again, and that he would not be able to live without her friendship. Sandy explained it to him that there was a reason behind her acting this way because she did not want anyone pointing a finger at their relationship and also the fact that she did not like all of them finger pointing him and blaming him and that she could not see anyone telling Sid anything. She also thanked him for being brave and asking the principal for forgiveness and taking the entire blame upon himself. Sid wondered where she came to know about him going to the principal and all. She narrated the entire story about how she overheard two teachers talking amongst themselves about Sid going to the principal and all that happened after that. She also told Sid that she also would never like to lose him and would always nurture their friendship like a flower bud. She wished him good night and promised to be together on their journey back home.
Relieved and happy about talking to Sandy, Sid went to sleep and slept peacefully after many nights. The next morning he was all refreshed and center of attraction of their entire gang, animated like before. The gang was taken aback by this sudden change in Sid, but was also happy altogether to have him back the way they knew him. Back in the train Sid and Sandy were together again and the first thing they did was hugged each other for a very long time and spilt only when the gang started telling them that they were making an obvious scene. They talked throughout the journey without taking notice of anybody else. Back at Bombay Sandy’s mom had come to receive her so Sandy bid good bye to Sid and promised to meet him after college the day after. Sid had already called up Jay at the station and he was waiting for him outside in the parking lot. The first thing they did was embraced each other and lit cigarettes. Sid then called up Reena and informed her that they would reach her place in sometime. Jay and Sid talked all along the drive to Reena’s place and Sid updated Jay with everything that had happened back at the tour. Reena was all alone at her house as her parents had gone to someone’s house warming party and she had stayed back to meet them. They got comfortable and then Reena started with her story she cried all along while narrating her story. Sid tried comforting her but to no use she would not stop crying at any cost. Sid told her that Aniket was blabbering about not touching her nor even hugging her, at this Reena again started crying and told Sid that Aniket is lying and they have done more than just hugging and kissing and that she would never ever be able to face herself anymore all the self-confidence and trust she had for herself was broken by Aniket and that she would also never be able to forgive her. Jay started sensing the heavy mood suddenly changed the topic and asked Sid about the tour and his experience about a different place. They sat talking about the tour and their moods lightened, Reena made coffee for all of them and they again sat talking. Sid expressed his tiredness and Jay and Sid left, Reena thanked both of them for being so caring and for dropping by. While Sid and Jay were driving back home Jay asked Sid that why is he glowing so much and there is something different about the Sid that had gone and the Sid that has come back. Sid gave Jay a notorious smile and Jay understood that something had definitely changed about Sid, he urged her to tell him and Sid told him the entire story about him and Sandy. Jay was so mesmerized by his tale that when Sid finished telling him everything Jay asked him if was telling him some movie story or something. Sid assured him that everything he had told was true and that he had actually gone through all that. Jay asked him that, when was the last time he had called Pooja and had he even called her after coming back to Bombay. Sid bit his tongue and explained Jay that there was really no time after coming to Bombay as they had to go to Reena’s house and everything so tiring that he completely forgot about it, and back during the tour there was very low reception and so he could not call much. Jay told him that Pooja was very angry on him because he had completely ignored her. Jay told Sid that Pooja is not going to call her and if he wants to talk, he will have to call her and talk to her. Sid immediately called up Pooja and as soon as she picked up the phone she started abusing him for being so careless, selfish and a pathetic boyfriend. Sid expresses his feelings and told her how sorry he was and he would meet her in college. Sid winked at Jay and he smiled for he understood everything. As soon as Sid got home he freshened up and went to his bed to have a good sleep and rest. Lying on the bed he called up Sandy who told him that she was about to call him up. They began talking and Sandy told Sid how much she was missing him, and how much she was missing the tour where they were together for the whole day. She also told him that this was possibly her best tour in all the three years combined and that she would never forget the tour or him and that they would be friends for life with him and she said absolutely yes. They spoke for some more time and then Sid told her that he needed some sleep and that he would call her later during the night or the next day. There is a scene of a wedding going on Sid is standing outside that gates with a bouquet of flowers and a invitation card he opens up the card and reads Sandy weds the name is blurred. From behind Jay approaches and tells him that its time they go inside everyone would be waiting for them. Sid goes inside and sees that Sandy is on the stage with someone else, he just stares blankly at her, they go on the stage to congratulate the bride and the groom, when he hugs Sandy she tells him that she loved him too much but he could not understand her feelings and so too forget all those feelings she had for him and to please her parents she took this big step and was getting married to a groom chosen by her parents. Sid could not take this and starts running while running he slips on to something and falls. In his room Sid is fallen off from his bed he looks here and there puzzled and realizes that it was already morning and all he saw was a nasty dream and he woke up because his cell phone was ringing. He picked up the phone and it was Sandy, the first thing he asked her was whether she was getting married. Sandy was amused by this and asked Sid why was he asking her like that, Sid excused that topic and thinking that he’s gone crazy Sandy tells him that she had been calling him for almost 30 minutes. She tells him that all her friends were planning for a movie and so whether he would like to join them. He agrees to join them; he gets ready and leaves to join Sandy and his friends. He reaches the place from where he was supposed to pick up Sandy and then they go together to meet the rest of Sandy’s friends. They all meet each other and Sandy’s friends tell Sid that all Sandy has been doing since the day she came back from the tour was talk about him, and so they all wanted to see who the special person in Sandy’s life was. They all laughing went in for the movie and Sandy sat next to Sid. While the movie started Sandy told Sid that she wanted to talk to him rather the n watch the movie, so they sat there talking together while the hero in the movie was busy saving his heroine from the villains trying to rape her. At the end of the movie the rest of the friends are talking about the movie and all Sid and Sandy do is nod their heads in yes or no. They went out for lunch after that and then again Sid dropped Sandy home and bid her good bye Sandy told Sid that she was not liking to leave his company but then she had to go home too. So Sid too left for home. The next day in college, everybody who had gone for the tour were animatedly talking about their experience and when Sid entered the class everybody started about his little skit with the teachers and his sweet romance with Sandy. He abandoned some of the guys who came to him and asked him about his affair with Sandy. Pooja also overhead some of the talks asked the gang about it they told her everything that had happened at the tour. She came directly to Sid and he could see that she was boiling with anger, she asked him about what the rest of the class was talking and about his relations with Sandy. He tried to explain her that there was nothing like that between them and their relation was all about good friendship. Pooja found it hard to believe since everybody in the class was talking about them and she argued with Sid for a proper explanation. Sid still told her the same thing that that he and Sandy were all but friends and there was nothing other than that between them, they had a huge fight about that and Pooja told him that she could not trust him and ask not to talk to him. He explained her again that there was nothing like that and that she could ask Jay about that. Still she was not convinced by his explanation and did not talk to him, Sid and Sandy were always finding ways to be together, Sandy would stay on for extra work after college so that she could meet Sid and Sid would come early on the pretext of some research work as their final project was nearing. They always found ways to be together in front everyone or alone. Sid and Sandy were becoming very close to each other. Sid almost forgot about the rest of the gang except for Jay with whom he would share everything about his relation with Sandy and there Sandy started neglecting her friends and getting involved with Sid more by the day. Someone in the class once commented that Sid and Sandy were close to each other more than a husband and wife. While Pooja was still not talking to Sid and even he did not make any further attempts to subdue her anger or get her talking to him because he felt that there was no mistake of his and it was without any reason that Pooja doubted on him. Jay tried very hard to be missing link between Sid and Pooja, because he loved both of them very much but too vain. Sid was stuck on his arrogance and attitude and Pooja was not satisfied with the answers that Sid provided her with. So every time Jay went in for the kill would come out killed himself. One day when Sandy and Sid were enjoying their now usual evening walks she asked him about his girlfriend, Sid told her about the rift in between them and all the reasons behind it. Sandy felt very bad for being the reason about the fight between Sid and Pooja. But Sid shot back that it was not her mistake it is Pooja who should be trusting and open minded. Sandy hugs Sid and at the very moment Pooja who had also come there with her friends sees them hugging each other. She starts crying and goes to Sid and Sandy and stands in front of them Sandy suddenly leaves the hug and stares with a blank face at Pooja, Sid tries to explain to Pooja that it was not what the way she saw it but Pooja not wanting any more explanations or reasons just runs off there. Sid is in an even more agitated mood and decides to leave from there, he drops Sandy home and she advises him to calm down. Sid waves her good bye and speeds out on his bike. He goes off to Jay‘s place and they go out for a smoke where Sid tells Jay everything that happened and then after hearing all that Sid had to say Jay said that he already knew everything that had happened as Pooja had called him up and narrated everything to him he added that Pooja had a message for him that she did not want any relation with Sid and that everything was over between them.. So this continued for the remaining of the term of their college, with Sid and Sandy always being together, Sid started avoiding the gang as always Pooja was with the rest of them and he did not want to create any more mess. Though he and Jay were like before and would share everything there was to share. By the time their final project came was to be submitted Jay too went through a heart break from Khushi as she was cheating on him and secretly dating another guy. Jay was so badly hurt by the episode that he promised Sid that he would never fall in love again. The college term ended and they were waiting for their results, when one day Jay and Sid who were together planned to go out for a couple of days. They planned to include Sandy and Reena with them and decided that they did not want anyone else to go with them. Sid called up Sandy and told her what they had planned Sandy agreed almost immediately after that Sid called up Reena who hesitated a bit but finally gave in when Sid forced her a lot. So the very next day the four of them left for Goa in Jay’s car. They had promised the girls that they won’t drink so there was no liquor in the car. They enjoyed their drive to Goa and while there they enjoyed even more. They had the entire beaches to themselves and everywhere they went people welcomed them with open arms. Sid and Sandy were again together the entire day like they used to be at the tour and they were even more happy that there was no one there to disturb them or no one was keeping an eye on them. They had completely forgotten that they had come with someone else and that all four of them were suppose to be together. Good thing that happened because of their negligence towards Jay and Reena was that they both found comfort in each other, Reena who had also went through a heart break understood Jay’s feelings and even Jay understood Reena’s feeling so they found comfort in each other and they declared this to Sid and Sandy when all four of them were together for their last dinner before they left the following morning. As soon as Sid heard them say he was serious for a moment and then suddenly gave a hearty laugh and hugged both of them together, he said that the news called in for celebrations and he and Sandy arranged for the cake and champagne and they joined Reena and Jay in Reena’s room for the celebration. They made Jay and Reena cut the cake while he and Sandy sang love songs for them and then they opened the champagne and drank to their hearts fill. When all of them were tired they sat down on the bed and out of the blue Reena told Sid that it was time that even he confesses his affair with Sandy in front of them. Both Jay and Sandy looked at each other and there was an awkward silence in between all four of them and then Sid and Sandy started laughing and they both laughed and laughed watching them laugh even Reena and Jay started laughing and they laughed till all of them feel down from the bed. Still laughing the guys got up and left the room while Reena and Sandy talked late into the night about their relation. While their return journey Reena and Jay sat together while Sid and Sandy were together and very happy for that. With not much sleep the following night Sandy went to doze off on Sid’s lap while Sid ended up putting his head back on the seat and sleeping. But Jay and Reena were busy talking and enjoying their moment’s togetherness.
From then on whenever they met all four of them would be together. They had completely left their gang behind and were least interested in the doing of the gang then so. Soon their results came and as expected all of them cleared with flying colors. According to the planning, Jay started his preparations of going to London for his further studies. Reena who was shattered completely by Jay’s decision also started pursuing her parents to let her go for further studies, her parents also saw the talent in her and agreed for her to go to London for further studies. So this was the moment that both Jay and Reena were waiting for, they would be alone for together for three whole years they were very excited about this and so were Sid and Sandy for them. Sid also found a job with an Advertising agency and was happy working there. Still every evening he would meet Sandy who had yet not started on a job and wanted some time before she would join some firm. At the ad agency Sid met hundreds of girl’s everyday and some of them were attracted to him so occasionally he would go on date with someone, go around with her for a few more days and then go on to a date with some other girl. He used to tell Sandy everything about his dates, the girls he met, what they spoke, what they did, everything. Sandy would just regard as a flirt and would ignore his talks about girls. Sid started being a flirt and would care about nothing about the girl’s emotions. The only girl about whose emotions he cared about was Sandy. After a few months even Sandy joined a firm and started keeping busy, at one point of time when they would meet every day now they would meet just once or twice a week and sometimes it would happen that they would not even meet each other for weeks and weeks at a stretch. Weeks became fortnights and fortnights became months. And they hardly met than still they would talk over the phone for a long hours but still Sid missed meeting Sandy and spending time with her. On the day of departure all four of them were at the airport, Sid, Sandy, Jay and Reena. The two of them Jay and Reena were very happy to be going to London for their further studies. When all four of them were having coffee at the airport café, Sandy shot up that she had an important announcement to make, she says that she loves Sid and if he would agree she would like to marry him. Sid was very shocked because he had never expected this from Sandy, Sandy wanted an answer from him and also Jay and Reena wanted an answer before they call them for the flight. Sid said that it was totally unexpected and shocking and so he needs time to think about it. He really tells Jay and Reena to go off happily and without worrying and that whatever his reply would be he would let them know first. Jay and Reena leave and this leaves Sid and Sandy alone from the group now. Sid and Sandy both became very busy with their work schedule that now they hardly met and they even hardly ha time to talk because when one was free the other would be busy and vice-versa.
Their lives had become such that they never had ever imagined during the time they were together. Sid and Sandy would miss each other very much but never would they have time to meet up and all they could do was read their mails in the morning for the update on each other’s lives. This continued for a few months during which they met but not the way the planned there would always be some friend either with Sandy or Sid so they could never have all the time to themselves. Sid’s life was taking a drastic turn he had been selected at a re-known film production house as a Creative Director and for that we would have to shift bases to USA. He broke this news to Sandy and she was happy for him but also sad that he would leave her and go. Sid explained her that it was not the way she was thinking and that they could always be in touch and their friendship won’t end just because he was going away in fact this was the time that their relationship would grow stronger. Sid planned a party before he went away and he called his entire gang excluding Jay and Reena as they were too far away. At the party Sid had brought in his new girlfriend and was making out with her in a corner, Sandy was watching him from a distance and was not happy with his behavior. She was standing with the gang and all of them were talking how Sid had changed since the day he got the news about his job offer. They all told Sandy that why don’t she and Sid get married if they love each other and that would be the only time that Sid would stop flirting with girls. Sandy said that they were never in love they were just best friends. The entire gang started laughing that they themselves didn’t know that they were in love, Sandy getting irritated with their behavior just walked away from there and went over to Sid she nudged him to be with her for sometime at least. Sid excused himself from his girlfriend and went over with Sandy. Sid had drank enough that he could not walk properly so Sandy escorted him to the couch and they sat there. Sandy told him what the gang was talking about, but Sid was not at all listening to what she was talking he was busy fondling with her hair and slowly he started to kiss her on her lips. Sandy suddenly realized what he was doing and slapped him hard on the face. Sid was taken aback and shocked he abused Sandy, the music stopped and everyone was watching Sid and Sandy who just got up and ran out of the party. The gang who had seen the entire drama too got angry on Sid and left away without telling anything to him. The party ended abruptly as everyone started leaving one by one. Sid’s girlfriend came to him and even she slapped him hard on the face and left without saying anything. Sid went home in a very bad mood he tried calling Sandy but she would not attend his call he messaged her but she did not even reply once to his messages. Depressed and drunk he went off to sleep and had a very weird dream, he dreamt that he is somewhere in middle of a war or riot and someone is shouting for him from behind he turns and sees that Sandy is sitting there bending low and all scared. He realizes that he has a gun in his hand and so he starts firing, killing some people while Sandy is constantly shouting from behind for him to be careful. Suddenly a bullet comes and hits him in the shoulder and he stumbles back and falls next to where Sandy is hiding. Through his half blurred eyes he could see that Sandy is crying and urging him to get up and run away from there. She helps him get up and they start running towards a fleet of houses in a distance as often shown in movies they hide there for some time and again start running. At one point Sid could not walk anymore and just stumbles down, Sandy again tries to get him on his feet when suddenly from somewhere a terrorist comes and points a gun directly at Sandy’s head. Sid and Sandy both look at each other with tears in their eyes and the screen goes blank and Sid wakes up with a jerk and switches on his bed side lamp. He looks around but sees no one he touches his shoulder but there is no bullet wound. He moves his hand through his hair and realizes something. He picks up his phone and calls Sandy she does not pick up his phone, he tries again but still she does not pick up, he tries the third time and this time she picks up the phone. Without letting her speak anything he just starts off that he was really sorry for his behavior earlier that day and that he has done of lots of mistakes in his life, he is but a damn fool, not just a fool he is a arrogant and useless, good for nothing fool but now he has realized his mistake and also got to know that the one person that could change his life and him was her and only her and that he loves her and would want to spend his entire life with her. Sandy was silent for a very long time she did not know what to say, all she muttered was why now after all that had happened wasn’t it too late for this realization to come to him she blasted at him for all that he had done, but Sid knew her answer and started smiling, confused and angry Sandy asked him what was he smiling for, and that he does it every time- does a mistake than calls her up and says that he is a damn fool and is sorry for everything he has done and would never do it again and she like a fool also believes him every time he says that because he knows that she loves him very much to be angry for a long time this time though before saying anything else she makes him promise that he won’t ever do anything that would hurt her or anyone else for that sake and finally she says that she also loves him and would want to spend her entire life with him. But still there was something going on somewhere in the back of her mind, unknowingly she asked Sid whether even he was in between a war.
